Die Rune Dagaz symbolisiert die Doppelaxt mit ihren zwei Klingen. Sie konzentriert sich auf das Gleichgewicht der Kräfte, gut und böse, hell und dunkel, Tag und Nacht, Beltane und Samhain, die Mitte zwischen den beiden Klingen. Sie erinnert auch daran, im Schlechten das Gute zu sehen, und im Guten das Schlechte nicht zu vergessen und ist als Schutzrune für Haus und Hof geeignet.
Noch heute zeichnen wir das Symbol an Türen und Fenster, um das Haus vor Unheil zu bewahren, man kann sie auch in Gedanken zeichnen, wenn man Türen und Fenster schließt.
The rune Dagaz is a symbol for the double axe with its two blades. The focus is on the balance of powers, good and bad, light and dark, day and night, Beltane and Samhain, the middle between the two blades. But it could also concentrate in the good aspects of a rather bad happening or the other way around to strenghten your inner balance, and is suitable as a rune of protection for the house.
