ODINS RUNE
Die Odinsrune ist blank.
Sie steht für die Ewigkeit und das Nichts.
Für das All und das Sternenzelt.
Für das Endgültige und für das Allmächtige.
Ihr habt bestimmt schon bemerkt, das manche Runen im Haus der Runen etwas anders ausgelegt werden. Wir erheben keinen Anspruch auf Allgemeingültigkeit, es geht um eine individuelle Auslegung, die Euch vielleicht neue Impulse gibt.
Es gibt viele abweichende Auslegungen, Akzente und Bedeutungen. Wer die Runen befragt, muss sie alle beherrschen und ihre Bedeutung kennen. Der wahre Name einer Rune erschließt sich für jeden etwas anders und erst nach einiger Zeit. Manche erfasst man schneller und leichter, aber es kann sich auch zu einer schwierigen Suche entwickeln. Die allgemeinen Deutungen sind oft genug ein guter Anfang um ihre wahre Natur zu erkennen, aber am Ende muß sie jeder selbst benennen.
Für uns heißen sie in der Reihenfolge des Futhark:
Fahrnis - die Magierune
Uruz - die Rune der Macht
Thurisaz - die Schildrune
Ansuz - die Rune der Eingebung
Raidho - die Windrune
Kenaz - die Verräterrune
Gebo - die Gaben
Wunjo - das Glück
Hagalaz - die Torrune
Naudhiz - die Schicksalsrune
Isan - die Eisrune
Jeran - die Zeit
Eihwaz - die Erdrune
Perthro - das Andere
Elhaz - die Waldkrone
Sowilo - die Rune des Lebens
Tyr - die Kriegsrune
Berkana - die Hoffnung
Ehwaz - die Blutsrune
Mannaz - die Seelenrune
Laguz - die Wasserrune
Ingwaz - die Feuerrune
Dagaz - die Doppelaxt
Othala - die Wiege

The Odin rune is bare.

You have probably already noticed that some runes in the house of runes are interpreted somewhat differently. We do not claim to know the final truth about the runes of the elder futhark, it's more an individual interpretation that may give you new impulses.
There are many different interpretations, accents and meanings. Whoever casts the runes must first master them all and know their exact meaning. The true name of a rune reveals itself differently for everyone and only after some time. Some are quicker and easier to find, but it can also become a difficult search. The general interpretations are often a good start to explore their true nature, but in the end every runewitch has to name them as she or he see fit .
We call them in the order of the elder futhark:

Thurisaz - the shield rune
Ansuz - the rune of inspiration
Raidho - the wind rune
Kenaz - the traitor rune
Gebo - the gifts
Wunjo - happiness
Hagalaz - the gateway rune
Naudhiz - the rune of fate
Isan - the ice rune
Jeran - time
Eihwaz - the earth rune
Perthro - other than
Elhaz - the forest crown
Sowilo - the rune of life
Tyr - the war rune
Berkana - hope
Ehwaz - the blood rune
Mannaz - the soul rune
Laguz - the water rune
Ingwaz - the fire rune
Dagaz - the double axe
Othala - the cradle
